In the Brandhorst Museum, the art was in an avant-garde style. Pictures were not allowed, but the Lepanto room by Cy Twombly stood out the most to me.The room was in an irregular arch with 8 angles with a portrait on each wall and was taller than most of the rooms in the Brandhorst museum. Cy Twombly actually played a role in deciding how the room would look! The portraits were abstract of pictures with flowers and ships. Although each canvas was the same height, some were different lengths but the way the room was set up made each canvas appear to be the same size. When entering the room, the area felt kind of like entering a ship, which relates to the canvases on the walls with abstractly painted ships.
